Tabs problem

Every time I click on bookmark, that bookmakr opens in new tab, that's annoying. How can I open all sites in one tab.

I have the same problem. After 1 hour I end up with 30 or more open tabs. When unchecking the [new link opens new tab] button it is simply ignored(maybe inactive?). The only way to overcome this, is to keep the [Shift Button] pressed permanently, which is difficult. I like slimboat very much and wanted to uninstall my chrome browser forever, but this prevents me from doing it.
