Gmail cookie mismatch issue

Postby flashpeak on Fri Jun 08, 2012 4:40 am

Sometimes, when you log into gmail in SlimBrowser, you are redirected to this page: https://www.google.com/accounts/CookieMismatch . So far, we haven't been able to find the root cause of this issue since it is hard to reproduce.

An easy workaround is to use the menu Tools:Privacy:Clean Trace:Clean Trace By Domain, and enter Google.com as the domain. That will clear all the cookies from Google.com.

If you have found a way to reproduce this issue and can provide insight into the problem, please reply to this topic. Thanks a lot.

This happens almost every day on numerous computers... I am going to try your suggested fix in hopes that it will work. This has been going on for over a year and it makes it hard to run our store computer with this issue... As much as I HATE CHROME, SAFARI and others I am to the point of having to go that route unless we can get a permanent fix...
Thanks

I think that it's no slimbrowser problem but a microsoft internet explorer problem.
Open Explorer. Choose "security" then choose "Delete browser history" then place a quote to "cookies" and press "delete"
Then open "Extra" Choose "Internet options" => "Privacy" => slide the "Accept all cookies" bar down.
Close both browsers and restart SLIMBROWSER.
Now the problem has to be solved at least it was solved on my systems.
Good luck
