Gmail account is canceling navagation to my user account when I try to access it with by Slim Browser.

The exact message is: "Navagation to the web page was canceled - What you can try: Refresh the page."

I have experienced this problem a dozen or more times over the last couple of days.

I was able to access my account using Firefox but still can not with Slim Browser.

Is there a fix or work around for this problem?

I would do this while running Slimbrowser before navigating to gmail.

Tools:Privacy:Clean Trace:Clean Trace by Domain...

type in " http://www.google.com "

if the problem continues to persist try this

Tools:Options:Misc

uncheck or check (whichever it is not) the checkbox next to

fix gmail cookie missmatch issue automatically

Every time I try to type in "http://www.google.com" as you suggested, I am told to "Type in one or more valid domains seperated by a comma." The program does not accept what I am typing as valid.

I unchecked the checkbox next to "fix gmail cookie missmatch issue automatically" and tried to access my mail account with the same results.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for clearing that up.

All of a sudden, I was able to access my Gmail account a moment ago. I can only assume that there was something strange going on within Google Mail. I will keep you suggestions in mind should the problem reoccur.

I have just had the same problem. Gmail working in other Browsers (although not in a another similar Internet Explorer based one). The problem did not clear on its own. I had to add another line to the above, so the solution for me was:

Tools:Privacy:Clean Trace:Clean Trace by Domain...

typed in "www.google.com" <CR>

(didn't work)

then typed in "mail.google.com" <CR>

(Gmail started working)

That was certainly faster than deleting files manually.
