No abillty to control embedded videos

I'm finding I cannot effect videos that are embedded on websites. Can't control Full Screen, Stop, Pause. Running Windows 7.
Another problem is associated with a website like BeFunky, http://www.befunky.com where SlimBoat crashes every time I try to save my work.
For the record, I'm running 1.1.18.
I'm also testing on various OS including OSX, W8, W7, Ubuntu 12.10 and will be reporting mostly on SlimBoat crashes as I'm finding other minor glitches.
