QuickFill
SlimBrowser includes a powerful full-featured form filler which save you a
lot of time completing web forms and typing login information. The form filler
functionalities are available from the menu "QuickFill" and related toolbar
buttons. The form filler can save form information previously entered manually
as form files. After the form files are saved, when you reach the same page
again, SlimBrowser will automatically find the best matched form based on all
the forms you have saved and let you complete it with a single click. In
addition to that, you can define an identity file which includes your name,
contact and address information. With such information, SlimBrowser can
automatically complete blank web forms for you using intelligent recognition.
SlimBrowser supports multiple identity files so that your entire family can
share a single installation of SlimBrowser under the same account.
Save Form
Select from "Quick Fill->Save Active Form" menu to save the
active form as a form file. You must make sure the form you want to
save is active by clicking inside any text boxes within the form
first. You can also right click in any of the text boxes within the
form and access "Save Active Form" from the popup menu to save the
selected form. In the rare case that you want to save more than one
forms on the same page, select "Quick Fill->Save All Forms" from the
menu.
Save Active Form is available as a button on the standard
toolbar. Simply right click on the standard toolbar and select
"Customize Standard toolbar" to add the button for quicker access.
After a form is saved, it will be available as one of the menu
items on the bottom of the QuickFill menu. Feel free to create
subfolders to better organize your saved forms if you have a lot of
them.
Fill Form
After a form is saved, you can access it from the bottom portion
of the QuickFill menu. Selecting the saved form will automatically
open the saved page URL, complete the web form with the saved form
data and submit the form automatically. If you hold down CTRL key
while selecting a saved form, SlimBrowser will not automatically
submit the form for you in case you want to review it or manually
input some additional information before submission.
If you have already navigated to a web page which contains a web
form that you saved previously, just select the first item under the
QuickFill menu. If SlimBrowser only detects a single match based on
the active web site, the menu text of the first menu item will
change into the name of the single match, such as "Fill with Your
Gmail Account". If multiple matches are found, the menu text will
read "Fill with best match". A dialog will popup which let you
select from a list of matched forms to fill with.
In case SlimBrowser is not able to detect the best matched form
correctly, you still have chance to manually pick the right form
from the menu "Fill with saved forms". On the first level of the sub
menu, all the forms from the same domain will be listed. At the
bottom of the sub menu, you can pick from all the forms from any
domains via the "All Forms" sub menu. As with mentioned above, if
you hold down CTRL key, the form won't be submitted automatically.
