Re: So What's the Future Outlook For SlimBrowser?

It should be understood that Slimbrowser is a graphical user interface for the Internet Explorer browser. As long as your system has a version of Internet Explorer installed it should run and be usable. However, Slimbrowser will only be as good and as updated as the underlying Internet Explorer brow...

I have 2010, 2012, and 2017 and Slimbrowser installs and works on this box. I would start with the youngest, in my case 2017, and work my way backward to 2010.

Re: Error message

The error code may have something to do with the C+ library. I think Slimbrowser requires an older library. Check what you have installed. I would fetch the redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 and install or re-install. After that I would try the 2012 library.

Beyond that I'm out of ideas.

Re: Error message

Try installing non-portable then go into Tools>Options>Misc and checkmark "Store settings and ... in program folder, (this changes it to portable), after that you can move the program folder anywhere.

Re: Navigation click sound

I will assume your running some version of windows. Apologies, I do not have Slimbrowser installed right now. I do not think this is a feature of Slimbrowser. In other words I do not think it is caused by or generated by Slimbrowser therefore not controlled by a Slimbrowser option. A couple things c...
