I love slimbrowser, but Microsofts Internet Explorer - IE7 still insists on opening from links in most other programs - IE help sections, links, etc. This is a real nag! Even though slimbrowser is set as default, it seems that most programmers don't seem to write it into their code. How can I block IE from opening once and for all? My only other alternative is to resign myself to IE and start using it exclusively. It is after all getting dangerously close to being useful.

Most programmers make a call to the system "default browser", however a LOT of them make *specific* calls to Internet Explorer, as they know that will be installed. It's not a SB issue, it's not even a Windows issue. You would need to contact the author(s) of the specific program(s) in question. :?
