AutoLogin and Windows7

Post by tegsec01 » Thu Nov 25, 2010 7:34 pm

Gidday and greetings from Australia.

I have been using the AutoLogin feature of SlimBrowser for a few years.

In Windows XP it works perfectly, with the new Login data going straight to the AutoLogin folder of SlimBrowser.

I have just installed Windows7 and I can't store the Login data where I used to.
Windows7 wants to put it on the Desktop etc.

Has anyone solved this challenge?

THANX.

can you copy/paste/post your information that is generated when you click Help > Configuration Information?

1. Press Windows + R keys to launch the "Run" dialog box.

2. Type control userpasswords2

3. Press Enter. User Accounts screen appears.

4. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

5. Click "OK"

6. You will be asked to enter your current password and confirm it.

7. After that, you are not prompted for a password when connecting.

Can you explain how this addresses the OP problem?
