HTML5 audio support

Post by henry4567 » Thu Mar 14, 2013 11:14 am

I recently I logged on to a new music website but was told that I couldn't use it to listen to free streaming music because my browser (SB) does not have HTML5 audio support. Is there anything I can do about that. I really prefer using SB if possible.

since SB makes use of the underlying IE engine for html support your going to only get what the underlying engine you have installed is capable of doing. Supposedly IE10 is able to support the html5 audio but I've seen conflicting reports online about that. If you have a version of IE lower than IE10 I don't think you will see much html5 support while running SB unless the SB developers decide to bypass html5 handling IE and write it into SB independent of the IE engine.
