Firefox has a very nice feature: if you type something into the address bar that is not an URL, it runs an "I'm Feeling Lucky" Google search that sends you right to the first search result for what you typed.

So if you type "slim browser", for example, you will automatically be sent to <a href='http://www.flashpeak.com/sbrowser/' target='_blank'>http://www.flashpeak.com/sbrowser/</a>.

I wanted the same behaviour in SB, so I created the following QuickSearch definition and then set it as Options > Address bar > "Search keywords from address bar using the following engine".

Code: Select all

[General]
url=http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&btnI=I'm%20Feeling%20Lucky&q=$key
method=get
encoding=utf-8
<a href='http://www.johannaost.com' target='_blank'><img src='http://www.johannaost.com/button1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'></a>
