Hi as have old computer with Windows 7 and had problems with Astromenda and Google Chrome, slowing me down, I decided to install SlimBrowser. I keep getting this popping up all the time do you want to allow software such as Active X controls and plug-ins to run? Also when I have searched this problem for help, all info seems to suggest I am using IE but I'm not using IE and don't want to use IE, and hope slimbrowser is not connected. Look this might sound dumb but I am not tech-savvie but have managed to get rid of Astromenda not just attaching to my browser, so with tech help can do a bit of fixing 8) One other thing can I delete internet explorer as itis full of bugs?

Slimbrowser uses the IE guts to do what it does.

You may be interested in Slimjet which makes use of the chrome engine but leaves out the things that google has added to Chrome which invades your privacy.
