I'm using Win7 64bit and I must not install the 6.0...due to "Error - failed to launch rendering process".
Now I'm using 5.00 and it works, but I must not update to 6.0. Why?

The version of the SlimBrowser you are using is pretty old (5.00.144). Could you update to the newest version and see if the problem goes away?

What I don't understand is that SlimBrowser 5 uses a single process. It doesn't use a separate rendering process at all. Probably you have two separate versions of SlimBrowser installed?

I think his native language is German and in translation some was lost.

I think was he is saying is that after installation of 6.xx he gets the error message about the rendering process failure when he tries to run SB

Oftentired, you are right! :D

I'm only using 5, because 6 doesn't work at all. After installing >>> ERROR -failed to launch rendering process.

Try running sbrender.exe by itself and see if it shows any error messages

Once Slimbrowser is installed. The Program Files folder will have two execution files for Slimbrowser. One is the "frame" and the other is the rendering process for tabs opened to webpages.

So I think Flashpeak is asking you to look for SBRender.EXE in the Slimbrowser program files folder and click it to see what happens when you run the rendering process without the frame.
