I am using Slimboat in Puppy Linux on a much older laptop. The reason for Slimboat is to find a browser that runs quickly on an ancient Toshiba Tecra. So far Slimboat is great except that it crashes everytime I attempt to download something. Help!

Same here on Vector Linux 7.0 (Slackware 13.37) 32-bit.
Soon as a download starts it crashes. Will try elsewhere (Debian Squeeze 64-bit, Arch Linux)
and see what happens.

Also, installed 1.1.7 but the About box says 1.1.6

Marc

Edit: Can't test it on Debian 6 Squeeze. Doesn't run as glibc version doesn't match. :(

Thanks for the feedback. I reproduced this issue and will investigate.

I installed 1.1.8.

Now it will not run at all under Puppy Linux. Sigh!
