I would like to see in Slimboat the sidebar occupy less space ... it's pushed over by the "Bookmarks Bar"
- please get that off just like in SBrowser

I'm not sure what you mean by "pushed over by", but I do know that if I click the icon next to the the X in the upper right corner the bookmarks side panel breaks away and can be resized to any reasonable size.

Also, I have moved this post from Slimbrowser feature requests to Slimboat feature requests.

Sorry - I meant to post that for SlimBoat not SBrowser - can it be moved ... ?

I meant that within the sidebar itself, the Bookmarks folder is positioned too far to the right for no obvious reason that I can see.

I've already moved as indicated in my previous post.

Is the excess space to the left about the same amount of space that would be there if there was a [+] plus sign in a box which could be clicked on to open down the tree view?

It is that much.
So SlimBrower uses less space
But Avant uses less still, by simply not having a folder called Bookmarks / Favourites

Most people tend not to like the screen being occupied unnecessarily, I find ...

(Sorry for keep referring to to Avant, but for years it has been the best and whilst Avant now focus on browsers for phones, Slimbrowser / boat have an opportunity to steal many of their customers)

In the meantime.... you still have the option to break the sidebar away from the frame and relocate/resize it :D
