SlimBrowser Javascript Vulnerability?

Is SlimBrowser 15 built off of Chromium?
The reason I ask is because there is a Zero-Day exploit actively in the wild. It's bad and likely wormable. CVE-2022-1096
It's a type confusion vulnerability in Javascript V8.

I read on zdnet that SlimBrowser was lumped in with Chrome, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi and other browsers as being based on Chromium. I'm guessing they were mistaken and should have actually said SlimJet. Right?
