Slimbrowser does not make use of "extensions" as you might be familiar with for some other browsers. Being based on IE it will occasionally interface correctly with some of the toolbars that will work with IE. But most often it does not. The most likely result of using an IE toolbar with Slimbrowser is that you will not see anything at all on the screen but you may be able to access some or all of the functionality of the toolbar using the right click context menu with the mouse in appropriate locations for possible use of the toolbar.

This is going to be major drawback of this browser. Extensions are very powerful and are available to do almost anything. Many people develop it so efforts are distributed.

You must devise some ways of getting extensions/ addons developed for it and run for it.

Even if extensions are not there at present, you should give interface to find and upload and manage extensions so that we can try our own codes in it.

Is there greasemonkey or any similar type of script running on this browser in which I can develop my own extensions?

Thanks.

The developers have released a new browser called Slimjet which is in Beta testing phase and is based on Chromium version 37.0.2062.94. Slimjet is able to make use of any extension existing for the google version of the same basic browser engine. You might want to give it a try.

38.61MB?

Then you should not have called it "slim"jet atleast, and named it "bulky"jet.

I wanted a small size broswer, that would be huge, so not trying it at all.

Thanks for informing though.
