I searched around all the places I could think of, with no luck, to find out if our beloved slimbrowser will be compatible with Win10 with the Edge browser or how all that is being addressed.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out?

Thanks,

RaKaan

I made your question a "sticky".

Thanks, Oftentired.

So, this also begs the question about SlimJet, and SlimBoat.

SlimJet seems like it would be Win10 compatible out of the box, and probably SlimBoat as well, but I also cannot find Win10 compatibility specs for those either.

This is not the only reason I am waiting to upgrade, but a major reason - if slimbrowser does not work with Edge, I have a lot of saved forms ( I have hundreds, and really depend on them) I need to deal with before I can upgrade ...

I'm certain Slimjet will become Win 10 compatible if it is not already.

Just a couple of FYI's:

I went to my nephews and he had used the Win10 Update (not clean install) on two machines.

One machine, Slimbrowser worked perfectly with Edge, but it showed as running in IE11 mode.

The other machine had issues with Slimbrowser. It would show some http sites, but seemed to have issues with https sites. We spent a little time messing around but eventually installed slimjet on this machine and had zero problems after that.

So, basically it works with Windows 10 (not necessarily with/on Edge).

I'm going to guess that compatibility with Edge will require reworking the browser into version 8. If it is even possible.
