This should be a very simple request, but I would like have a check mark placed next to the "set as default browser" under the tools option so I know it's the default browser with just a simple look.

Kid and wife play on a couple of my machines and are always changing default back to IE. Not that I hate IE, but a simple look is all it should take.

in the meantime you can check the box at Tools > Options > Program to have Slimbrowser check if it is default each time you run it.

Either way have to one extra click, but yep, can do that also.

I am also facing this problem. My kids are using my computer and change the settings. I am designer of an kids bedding company in Australia. And its hard for me to get the all the records again. Any solution?

You have not explained your problem well enough for a solution to be discovered.


In the meantime. While running Slimbrowser.

Go to Tools:Internet Options and select the Programs tab, then uncheck the box next to "tell me if internet explorer is not my default browser" and click OK

When Internet Explorer is deliberately used by someone this will stop them from getting a message that it is not default and they will not then select the choice to make it default.
